Project in brief

Oxford HR is a global leadership consultancy dedicated to searching for and supporting remarkable leaders and teams in purpose-led organisations. With offices in Oxford UK, Nairobi, Amsterdam, Singapore and Washington opening later in 2023 they have a truly global offering with expert knowledge of local contexts, to be able to support purpose-led organisations. We helped to refresh the Oxford HR brand to help communicate the organisations transition to a leadership consultancy.

Oxford HR Brand Guidelines

After in-depth consultations with the CEO and key members of the team to get a fully reflective view of how the organisation wanted to be positioned and how all the staff felt about the organisation as a brand, our copywriter and designers worked together to define the tone of voice, create a messaging framework and shift the visual identity.

We tweaked the Oxford HR colour palette, centred the Oxford HR globe as the main brand logo, while a rounded serif was paired with a clean, easy to read body font.

Once approved, these frameworks were applied across all collateral such as the website, brochures, videos and internal documents. Sessions were also held for all Oxford HR staff, so they could understand and buy into our new tone of voice and language, to ensure consistency across all communications and how they portray themselves externally to the world.

Working with OXygen is always such a pleasure. The move to a Leadership Consultancy is a pivotal moment for us as an organisation and how we communicate that to our clients and the world is a fundamental element to our success in this transition.

Building an accessible, sustainable website

The website redesign focused on incorporating the new visual elements of the brand; soft, rounded shapes, bold colour fades and people focused imagery. The website was built with Accessibility and Carbon footprint at the core, with plain text versions of our candidate packs, the integration of a third-party accessibility widget and detailed image and code optimisation to produce rapid loading times all contributing to an enhanced user experience.

OXygen's copywriter and designers spent the time to talk to not just me, but also members of our team from all around the globe, to understand different perspectives, points of views and our ambitions as a growing organisation. It was a huge piece of work and to say I am delighted would be an understatement
